Dear Reader,

From the LHS Music Department stem friendships, life-long careers, and what many claim to be the best part of their high school years. It is impossible to fully relate the unique beat that pulses through the music rooms. There is always life in the veins of the department. Before school, students gather and listen to recordings. During lunch, friends meet up and leave messages on the white board. After school, a cappella groups rehearse and jazz students jam.

This magazine sprouted from a desire to save the music department from a life constrained to tiny blurbs in school newsletters and half-pages of school yearbooks.

We invite you with us on what we hope to be an interesting and engrossing journey of documenting the unique rhythm of the LHS Music Department. We hope that you will enjoy this publication as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
